I have created this website to share my love of food and flavors. Back when I was working in business I spend my weekends searching for the best ingredients I could find in Amsterdam and surroundings. Always looking for something special to taste.

Now, I have left the business world completely and just want to focus on experimenting with food. My wife Jacqueline and I live with our three kids Carmen, Iris and Simon in Kristiansand in Norway. When we moved to Norway we first landed in the Trondheim area and stayed there for three years.

In the small village near Trondheim, Klæbu, I started a small craft-shop as a chocolatier. I bought a book and a tempering machine and just went for it. Inventing and creating my own recipes as I thought that it was just not right to use someone else. Later I got a coffee roaster and an ice-cream machine.

I loved working with food but the business could not support us anymore. Now, most of my craft business is gone. But I still have this love for food and flavors. So this is going virtual with my old craft shop and I intend to share what I have learned in the years and in the years to come.
